The truth is that we weren’t so sure some years ago where the whole thing was going… Now we have no excuse to refuse to accept the fact that we have remained very few in a Church that is shrinking in number but preserving the True Faith!
Quite so, if only so many weren't so completely in the dark about which is the True Church. Also, there's the little matter of staying in the True Church. There are roaring lions abroad, and plenty of ravening wolves!

Of course if you are in the True Church it doesn’t matter. The gates of Hades shall not prevail.
